Meet Our Adoptable Pets!
Mitsy
A petite, affectionate lap cat
Quick Facts
- mixed breed
- 13 years old
- female
- Health: No known medical issues, pending vet check
Despite her 13 years, Mitsy’s owner says she has a real kitten look. She is a gentle, affectionate companion who enjoys her independence whilst her owners are out of the home. She’s also very much a lap cat who loves to nap on her favourite human. Expect her to quietly hop onto your lap, settle in and drift off to sleep while purring contentedly. She shows her affection with soft head bumps, cheek rubs and the occasional gentle paw touch to your forehead.
She spends most of her time relaxing but does still have a playful side, especially when catnip is involved – at which point she can become surprisingly energetic and full of character.
She is friendly with adults, often approaching new people for attention, but prefers to keep her distance from children and will choose to hide when things feel too busy. She is used to being the only cat and having some access to the outdoors (though she is mostly an indoor kitty and can adapt to indoor life).
Ideal Home
- Not a fan of other cats
- Perfect for someone who works in the office (of course, hybrid and work from home are great too)
- Access to a safe garden preferred but not essential
- Not been in close contact with dogs; possible compatibility with cat-friendly dog
Olive
Sweet, Outdoorsy Girlie
Quick Facts
- Breed: Mixed breed, long fur
- Age: 9
- Female Cat
Olive is a petite and luxurious girl. But, despite her soft, fluffy exterior Olive is an outdoor explorer!
Olive is very affectionate and loves claps.
Olive has a stage 2 heart murmur, it was identified at the vet last month. The vet said it was “very mild”. She will receive another exam by GPC vet soon and will update with more info.
Ideal Home
- Olive needs access to safe outdoors area
- Likes a quiet to medium noise home
- Stressed by babies
- Wants to be a solo cat
Sebastian
Sweet, Social butterfly
Quick Facts
- Breed: Domestic short hair
- Age: 5.5 years old
- Male
Sebastian is an affectionate and people-oriented cat who loves attention and cuddles.
Mornings and evenings are his social hours: he will seek you out for company, chin scratches, and lap time, and is especially playful before his dinner.
In the afternoon he is content to sleep and recharge, often tucked into a blanket-lined box, under furniture, or perched high on a bookshelf surveying his surroundings.
He likes to watch birds from the window or chase the occasional fly. He prefers simple play—string, foil balls, feathers—over traditional cat toys, and he is very responsive to catnip.
Sebastian is highly food-oriented and will attempt to sample any non-vegan food left accessible, so clear boundaries around food are important.
He can be cuddly and affectionate, sometimes allowing a gentle belly rub once trust is established, though chin scratches are his clear favourite.
He would benefit from a home where someone is present regularly, as he becomes stressed if left alone for more than 12 hours.
Ideal Home
- someone home mornings and evenings
- secure outdoor access preferred
- dog-free home
- cannot be left home alone more than 12 horus
- Sebastian has previoulsy been indoor/outdoor. We would like either an indoor/outdoor home for him or a home that is slightly larger and with plenty of attention so he has space to roam a bit and lots of stimulation.
Sebastian would suit someone who appreciates a cat with a routine: social and engaged at key points in the day, independent when resting, and reliably enthusiastic about meals and attention.
Whisky & Scotch
Life is a party with Whisky and Scotch!
Quick Facts
- Breed: Domestic short hair
- Age: Scotch – 3 years; Whisky – 1 year
- Male cats
- Bonded pair
Scotch and Whiskey are a pair of very different cats who complement each other perfectly. Scotch, the older of the two, is the confident ringleader: energetic, playful, and full of personality. Whiskey is his softer counterpart, a gentle and cuddly “teddy bear” who prefers relaxed evenings and quiet companionship. They are close companions who play together, groom each other and rely on one another for confidence and comfort.
Scotch is the more active and interactive cat. He enjoys play, exploration, and engaging with people, often showing off bursts of athletic “acrobatics” during zoomies. He has a mischievous sense of humour and a strong independent streak—very much a cat who does things on his own terms. Rather than being constantly cuddly, he tends to treat his humans more like housemates, approaching for food, scratches, or a bit of play when the mood strikes. Despite his independence, he shows a caring side with Whiskey, bringing him toys and sharing treats.
Whiskey, by contrast, is calm, affectionate, and happiest during quiet evening hours. He enjoys sitting on the sofa, relaxing with his people, and often burrowing under blankets while the television is on. He prefers gentle petting rather than scratching and tends to observe the household from a comfortable distance during the day. When new people visit, he often waits to see how Scotch reacts before approaching, showing how closely he relies on his older companion.
Both cats enjoy simple play sessions with ribbons, laser toys, and “cat TV”, typically for short bursts once or twice a day. They also love catnip and use a scratching post well. They currently live in an indoor home but have occasionally gone out in a bubble backpack for short outings.
One small quirk: Scotch is extremely enthusiastic about milk and will attempt daring “mission impossible” style manoeuvres to get a taste, though milk unfortunately upsets his stomach and should be avoided.
Ideal Home
- Indoor so far in life, indoor/outdoor potential
- Adaptable to quiet to busy household
- Children likely fine with respectful handling
- Have not met other cats – possibly compatible
- Have not met dogs – possibly compatible
Scotch and Whiskey would suit a home that appreciates two very different feline personalities. Together they offer a balanced companionship: one playful and charismatic, the other calm and affectionate, forming a pair that brings both energy and comfort to a home.
Meet Our Adoptable Dogs!
Nibby
High energy sweetheart with a soft, goofy side
Want a buddy to join you on daily walks, weekend adventures and, of course, big snooze energy beside you on the couch? You found your girl!
Quick Facts
• Breed: Doberman cross, black coat, often mistaken for a black Labrador
• Age: 2 years old
• Distinctive feature: Big expressive eyes and wonderfully silly cartoon style antics when excited
Nibby is a bright, enthusiastic dog who experiences the world at full volume. She is friendly with people and dogs and approaches life with a lot of heart and a lot of energy. Outdoors she is adventurous and athletic, happiest when she can stretch her legs on long countryside walks or chase a ball. Indoors she settles well and enjoys being close to her people, often curling up on the sofa in the evening and resting her head on your lap while you watch TV.
With people, Nibby is affectionate and people focused. She loves company and likes to be near you rather than left to her own devices. She can get over excited when greeting or when attention becomes too intense, showing this through jumping, spinning or tail chasing. She responds best to calm presence rather than lots of hands on fuss and once she settles she is relaxed and content. She is fully potty trained, sleeps happily in her crate and can be left alone for up to 6 on occasion. She is fine to be left home during a work day as long as there is a walk midday.
Nibby is intelligent and thrives on engagement. She needs both physical exercise and mental stimulation and would suit someone who enjoys training or wants to learn more about it. Recall is a work in progress and she currently walks on a long line as she can be overly enthusiastic about other dogs. Her friendliness is never aggressive but can be overwhelming, especially for dogs who prefer quieter interactions. With guidance and positive training support she has the potential to develop calmer social skills.
Playtime is one of Nibby’s favourite things. She adores chasing a ball, especially with a tennis ball thrower, and enjoys toys with a satisfying crunchy noise. She has bursts of zoomy energy and is known for walking in excited circles, doing little half flips and occasionally chasing her own tail. Despite all that energy she also values rest and will happily take crate naps or wind down on the sofa after a full day.
Ideal Home
• Active adults who enjoy exercise, training and engagement
• People experienced with large, high energy dogs or keen to learn with professional support
• Can live with older dog-savvy children
• Could potentially live with another high energy dog
• Best not to live with cats
Nibby offers huge amounts of affection, fun and companionship to the right home. She is the sort of dog who will join you on big adventures then happily curl up beside you at the end of the day. She needs people who see her energy and intensity not as a problem but as potential, and who are excited to build a partnership with a clever, loving dog. For the right family, Nibby will be a deeply rewarding and joyful companion.
